HUMAN Nature is an innovative docuseries and nonprofit initiative that explores the deep, often overlooked connection between humanity and the natural world. Founded by internationally recognized marine scientist and storyteller Samantha Allyson, the project was created out of a simple but urgent question: What do we lose — as people — when we lose nature?

Through cinematic episodes rooted in lived experience, each story follows grassroots conservation groups around the world, blending personal narratives, cultural heritage, local struggles, and bold solutions. But, this isn’t simply a story told — it’s a commitment returned. We work directly with the people we feature to provide funding, visibility, and lasting community support.

HUMAN Nature aims to diversify environmental storytelling by uplifting underrepresented voices, expanding the idea of who can be a changemaker, and fostering solidarity between environmental and social justice movements. Our work honors both tradition and technology— weaving together inherited knowledge and modern science to feature evidence-based, practical solutions.

HUMAN Nature is more than a nature show. It’s a growing global platform for storytelling, collaboration, and collective action — where culture, creativity, and conservation meet.
